It is very important for you to work hard and to try you very best in all subjects areas. All of your teachers and I care a lot about you and we will do our best to see you reach all of your educational goals.

I am proud to be the principal of this school and I will do my best to serve all of you to the best of my ability.

Principal's Message to Parents

The staff, students and parents of Gordon Denny Community School have been incredibly welcoming to all of the new staff and students, and I an thrilled and honoured to be a part of La Ronge community.

Developing the literacy and numeracy skills of our students is the focus of our programs. However, one cannot attain skills in isolation. I believe that we are part of a learning community that must provide a safe and secure environment and foster character attributes, such as respect and responsibility while improving student achievement.

My role is to support teachers as they create activities that enhance children's learning. This support varies, and keeps my job interesting. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities for all of us, and together we become better for these experiences.

Welcoming and supporting parents to take an active role in thier child's learning is a key role of a school administrator.

I welcome parent contacts and endeavour to make your child's years at Gordon Denny Community School successful.

Weather

As winter approaches, the children need to come to school dressed for the weather. They will be going outside unliess the temperature is -30 C or colder or if it is raining hard.

Please make sure that student names are in boots and shoes so that there will be no confusion over ownership.
